This reel is the result of my work as a Junior Cinematic Artist at metricminds, where we created many of the cutscenes of Darksiders III for Gunfire Games. I was able to contribute to the project in form of integrating animations and cameras into Unreal, providing additional lighting for the characters and making the cinematic VFX. The effects were mostly based on existing game effects by Gunfire Games, but some were made by myself nearly from scratch, like the magic sphere and death effect of the Hollow Lord (00:09) or the attack effect for the Watcher (01:16).
This project was a team effort and these shots a result of many talented artists' work. I especially want to thank Christoph Schulte, Waldemar Filbert and Tobias Scholz for their feedback and guidance throughout this project.
